Jeff Tweddale, Founder & President of BookingCenter

Jeff Tweddale co–founded BookingCenter, enabling it to rapidly become a leading online reservations solution for the travel industry. Prior to founding BookingCenter, Jeff created the The InternetCorps to deliver innovative e-commerce and e-marketing solutions to such market leaders as Sun Microsystems, Visa USA, and LaserLine. In the early days of the Internet, Jeff served as Product Manager for one of the first Internet businesses, America Online's Global Network Navigator (GNN). While there, he supervised the software development of AOL's first internet programs (email, chat, publishing, etc) while overseeing the service's Web community of more than 300,000 users. Jeff also served as Technical Consultant and Developer at AOL's Consulting Services Group, leading the technical research, development, and implementation of a wide variety of new media projects for Fortune 500 clients. He brings extensive multimedia, networking, and advertising experience to BookingCenter. Jeff holds a B.A. in Telecommunications from California State University at Chico and served in the US Peace Corps from 1991–1993.

Jeff is a board member for the Northern California Association of Returned Peace Corps Volunteers, and a volunteer trip leader at Environmental Traveling Companions. When he's not building BookingCenter, Jeff is mountain biking, kayaking, skiing/boarding, or playing acoustic guitar. Jeff's Photo.

Steve Farmer, Chief Technical Officer

Steve and his crew developed the BookingCenter software in 1992. As President of HTS Software (www.hts.com.au), an Australian software company, he brought over 18 years programming experience, presented software seminars to computer resellers, was manager of the Australian Apple Programmers and Developers Association for two years, and has worked extensively as a consultant.

Kendall Mau, CFO, HR Director

Kendall brings 15+ years of financial management experience to the team. He has held the positions of Manager of Financial Analysis, Division Controller, and Corporate Budget Director of a Fortune 500 company; was Co-General Manager and VP of Finance of Silicon Valley FCU in Palo Alto, CA; a Board Member of a SF boutique bank specializing in trade finance; and former HR adjunct faculty member in Golden Gate University's MBA Program. He holds Master and Doctorate degrees in Business Administration, and has worked with 2 other Internet-related startups in Phases 1-3 and 7 mezzanine. Kendall's Photo

Dan Arendt, Sales & Marketing

Dan was a co-founder and has been the Director of Marketing for BookingCenter since 1999. Previously, Dan was Marketing Manager for US-West City Key, an interactive television service installed in San Francisco's top hotels. Dan has helped launched five high-tech start–up companies in his 10 years of marketing and public relations work. He has a B.A. from St John's University.

Dan has a passion for rainforest preservation, good music, and Latin American culture. When he's not online, Dan enjoys live music events, surfing, biking, and watching sunsets over the ocean. Dan's Photo

David Martin, Customer Care

Dave came to BookingCenter from the design industry. As a top notch designer for 12 years, he has worked most of his life to make things easier and more intuitive for the people that use them. This focus on the details, and the patience to get it right, have made Dave’s roll in customer support and training fit like a glove. He has worked on projects of all size and scope from the Tech Museum of Innovation to Mead - Office Products division, and most recently for Bell Sports, the market leader in innovative, protective gear. Dave has helped establish these companies as market leaders in their respective categories.

Dave has been an avid biker for most of his life and when he is not helping customers you can most likely find him on his bike. Dave graduated from San Jose State University with a BA in industrial design. He has recently moved with his wife and three children to Bend Oregon where the mountain biking is superb and he can snowboard on a volcano. Dave's Photo

Ryan J. Timms, Special Projects

Ryan Timms is an Online Advocate in the business development office with BookingCenter. He came to BookingCenter after achieving his MBA at Thunderbird, The American Graduate School of International Management in Phoenix, Arizona. From 1998 to 2000, Ryan worked with the Government of Canada on the Community Access Project, which assists rural communities and SMEs across the Canada úget connectedî to current information technologies. His responsibilities included expanding this sustainable business model internationally. Ryan brings extensive management and technology experience to the BookingCenter team. In his free time, Ryan enjoys rugby, coaching football, and watching sports of all types. Ryan's Photo

Scott Stollman, Online Advocate

Scott is one of our Online Advocates. He works closely with properties to ensure that they are optimally marketing themselves through the BookingCenter Network. Scott's work results in increased bookings for our customers and increased commission revenue for BookingCenter. He also works for the US Environmental Protection Agency in Strategic Planning and has managed hundreds of million in federal grants. He holds a Masters degree in International Affairs, served as a Small Business Consultant in Costa Rica for the US Peace Corps, and worked as a reservation and concierge agent for a major hotel chain. Amy Martin, Accounts Receivables

Amy makes sure the accounts are paid and the books clean. As a mother of 3 young children, Amy works part-time for BookingCenter. She started her career in social work (which is similar to helping small businesses) and will likely return to helping abused women and children at some poing in the future. For now, know that Amy is a helping hand that has a degree in social sciences from San Jose State University and loves to cook, make crafts, and throw outlandish parties. Amy's Photo

Jason Mispagel, Customer Care

Jason came to BookingCenter from sales and audio/photo fanaticism. As a professional sales and support technician, Jason brings 15 years eperience to his role serving the hospitality industry.

Jason photographs with an empathetic eye the world around him, especially his two young children. He plays in a marching drumming band, and you can find him at various Scottish cermenies around the western USA. Jason's Photo

Mike Ryan, Developer and Customer Care

Mike brings nearly 20 years of OMNIS, Oracle, PHP, and web development experience. Having worked throughout North America with various large comapnies, Mike settled into the BookingCenter team in 2005. He lives along teh banks of the Ottawa River, where he works to restore natural eco systems and stave off development.

Mike has been an avid traveller and kayaker his entire adult life. He volunteers as a River Watcher and loves to escape Canadian winters with a trip somewhere in the Tropics with his wife, an artist. Mike's Photo

Jesse Baldwin, Operations Officer

Jesse delivers operational management - including customer support, AP/AR support, performance coaching, and product/project management. Jesse brings 20 years of customer service experience to the team. Previously, Jesse served as Director of Client Services for Alibris, an e-commerce business exchange that brings sellers and buyers of media (books, music, and movies) together in an online marketplace environment. This role included managing all customer service functions, managing key accounts, managing the supplier extranet site, managing software products/projects, and coordinating change management initiatives. Prior experience includes working in the 'pre-Internet' career development field, and restaurant/catering management.
