Commission and Payment Plans

BookingCenter offers simple plans for properties to participate in online bookings and the Global Booking Networks.

When BookingCenter accepts an online booking (based upon availability and rates you manage per channel), a fee is applied to the total booking, dependent on where the booking originated from. The fee is either included in a monthly 'subscription plan' or is a commission paid to BookingCenter AFTER the guest has paid the property.

Commission & Subscription Plans:

  1. Bookings made from the Member's Area of the BookingCenter website incur either a 1% commission or are included when purchasing a monthly plan.
  2. Bookings made from BookingCenter or from your website incur a commission or a monthly 'subscription' service plan - whichever is right for you.
  3. Bookings made from a BookingCenter Global Network Partner or Global Distribution System (GDS) site incur a commission or a monthly 'subscription' service plan - whichever is right for you.

All commissions are due AFTER the guest checks out and are based ONLY on the actual bookings value, not was 'electronically booked'. Therefore, if a Guest booked through a Network site for 3 days but stayed only 2 days, you pay a commission only for the two days actually stayed.

Payment Plans:

When you begin receiving bookings from the Network you receive notice of the bookings inside your BookingCenter software as well as through email/fax and <optionally> via SMS to your mobile phone. When the guest checks out and settles their account, a commission may be owed to BookingCenter based on the total booking. BookingCenter totals all commissions from all Partners - the GDS systems, Pegasus, AOL, Yahoo!, Etc. - and presents a summary bill that you can pay in any of the following ways:

  1. Payment automatically debiting credit card
  2. Payment via credit card with a 15 day reconciliation period
  3. Payment via check in US dollars - 100% of total owed plus $5.00 fee per invoice.
    * Note - if you choose any subscription service through BookingCenter such as a MyPMS contract or a website booking subscription, than only Payment Plans A and B are available. Payment Plan C is available to non-subscription plan customers only.
