Reset the Guest in an Existing Reservation

If there are multiple bookings for a single Guest Name, than any time you edit that Guest Data, you are effectively editing it for ALL the reservations that the guest is attached to. Sometimes this is what you want to do. However, sometimes you made multiple reservations and want to edit the indiviual Guest Data (such as name and credit crad 'Guarantee by' ) to become unique to each reservation.

In order to re-set existing bookings to the correct guest, please do the following.

  1. Search for the booking by Confirmation #s (Ex. AD01450303)
  2. Under Guest Data, delete the last name THEN, press the escape key on your keyboard <esc> before entering the new guest data. This releases the attachment of ALL other bookings that had the guest's name.
  3. MyPMS will then ask you for the new guest last name
  4. Insert the correct Guest name from the list
  5. Repeat as necessary.
