BookingCenter signs with GenaRes to expand BookingCenter's hotel connectivity to include distribution to the Global Distribution Systems (GDSs) and thousands of travel web sites

Properties using BookingCenter property management software gain automatic, two-way connectivity to a wide range of distribution offerings including GenaRes and their partners

Occidental, California - April 10, 2006 - BookingCenter, a leading provider of property management software (PMS) and central reservations services (CRS) for the hospitality industry, announced a new agreement with Dallas-based GenaRes Worldwide Reservation Services(sm) Ltd., the industry's newest hotel representation and reservations company, enabling BookingCenter's hotel customers to automatically distribute their rooms to the global distribution systems (GDSs) and thousands of travel web sites around the world.

As a result of the agreement, properties using any of BookingCenter's property management software products will enjoy expanded distribution opportunities via seamless, two-way connectivity to the major GDSs; Sabre, Galileo, Amadeus, and Worldspan, and thousands of consumer-focused Internet sites connected to GenaRes via the Pegasus Solutions Online Distribution Network.

BookingCenter combines both property and distribution management into a single software, which synchronizes the front desk with reservations received through a wide range of Global Booking Networks, including GenaRes. This automatic data synchronization is fast, accurate, secure, and reduces the effort - and potential errors of allocating rooms to the GDS via separate, manual processes.

"We are excited about our partnership with GenaRes, which allows us to continue expanding distribution opportunities for our customers," said BookingCenter's President, Jeff Tweddale. "We serve properties ranging from large, full-service resorts to small, remote villas, and offer a choice of three different types of management software making it easy - and cost effective - to harness the GDS and Internet distribution."

The BookingCenter MyPMS product is web-based, so hotel owners control both their property and their GenaRes CRS inventory from any place in which they have Internet access. In addition, users of the BookingCenter client-server Desktop Pro PMS can also take advantage of remote management, while protecting data on site. This allows property owners and rate managers to focus on their business goals and front desk staff to focus on the hotel guests.

"GenaRes and BookingCenter provide complementary solutions to empower the hospitality industry, and we both understand the importance of providing excellent set up, training, and ongoing support for property owners," said GenaRes President Eugene Harris. "As one of GenaRes' preferred PMS providers, BookingCenter provides hotels with an automated way to keep their front desks synchronized with all of GenaRes' distribution channels, seamlessly."
