Introducing BookingCenter Desktop Pro Version 6
BookingCenter Pro Desktop Property Management Software will soon be available in Version 6. Version 6 is a major upgrade yet still functions the same way with these new benefits:
Macintosh OSX Compatible: BookingCenter Version 6 runs natively in
Macintosh OSX. This is great news for owners of new Intel Macs, which no
longer support Classic OS9. Improved Availability Window: With the new, flexible and customizable Availability Window, users can choose their own colors, size, and date ranges. Source Import from CRS: Sources from online bookings, now automatically import into the desktop software without first being setup on the CRS. Faster Full Uploads: To speed the Upload process, seasonal error
checking during a Full Upload has been removed. Users can still use the
'Check' button on the Seasons screen to correct any gaps in their
Seasons.
BookingCenter MyPMS Enhancements
The development team made enhancements to BookingCenter MyPMS - web based Property Management Software including:
House Accounts: Users can now print out individual receipts from the House Account.
Room Types: Users can now specify a room type, such as conference or meeting rooms to not reflect in the occupancy reports.
AR, House Accounts, and Direct Bill: Users now have the ability to pay an AR account, House Accounts, and and Direct Bill with a credit card.
User Defined Rights: The ability to overbook a room type and manually enter a room rate are now user defined rights, controllable by a manager.
Availability Calendar and Tape Chart display issues have been resolved.
BookingCenter Management Tool Enhancements
New Closed to Arrival and Minimum Stays: Users can now stipulate day(s) of the week a rate cannot be booked for arrival. Likewise, a new Min Stay field restricts a Rate from being booked for less then the number of nights specified.
Authorize.net Enhancement: Additional error checking was added to improve email notification delivery.
New SMS Text Messaging for Booking Notification
For busy property managers on the go, the new SMS Text Messaging service provides an additional way to receive new booking notification.
Sign up for BookingCenter's new SMS notification service, and have new, modified, and cancelled booking notifications sent as text messages to your mobile phone. Chose to be notified on only the messages you want, such as GDS and/or web site bookings.
