Receipt Printers (this is what prints those nice yellow/white receipts for customers to sign)
We recommend Epson POS products. The printer is a workhorse and can't be beat for price/performance. Retail cost: ~$300 (free 2nd day FedEx to US). Comes with the serial interface, necessary cables, and 1 roll of paper and a print cartridge.
A case of printer paper will cost ~$120 and an extra box of 12 ribbons is ~$100. One roll of paper and ribbon is usually included with each purchase.
Cash Drawers
If you use a standard receipt printer, it emits the pulse to the cash drawer to open at the conclusion of a transaction. Plastic cash drawers are decent but not recommended if the computer will be placed on top. For heavier needs, use a steel or aluminum cash drawer. Retail price: ~$290.
Credit/Debit Card Reader
These devices read data as keyboard entry wherever the cursor is positioned. The card data is then parsed by BookingCenter and placed into the correct fields in the Receipts screen of BookingCenter. Retail cost: ~$135 (free 2nd day FedEx to US) .
Bar Code Printers
These machines will print bar codes directly from BookingCenter - so that each Inventory Item can be printed as a computer-readable bar code that can be scanned in to facilitate data entry for uses such as a gift shop or a restaurant. BookingCenter supports all EAN and Code 39 type coding schemes.

These machines will READ bar codes directly from a product or bar code BookingCenter - so that each Inventory Item can be added easily to a Guest Account. BookingCenter supports all EAN and Code 39 type coding schemes.
